On Tuesday 21st of June, 20 students graduated from the NOOR Ophthalmic Technician Training Programme (OTTP). Dr Reshad, head of the Afghan Eye Doctors Society, and Dr Asad, Deputy of the Central Polyclinic, gave speeches.

The students have been studying with NOOR fulltime for one year in Kabul. 70% of the graduates are from provinces that are underserved for eye care, and many will return to those areas. Most graduates already have jobs lined up at governmental or private eye care facilities. This was the sixth graduation from OTTP.
