Eye medicines can be difficult to come by in Afghanistan and in order to meet the demand IAM’s NOOR Eye Care Program produces nearly 500,000 bottles of eye medicine annually at its facilities in Herat, Mazar, and Kabul. The intent is to produce what we need, when we need it, and at a price that people can afford. This ensures that there is an adequate supply of high quality, affordable medicine in the country.
We produce a range of 29 different types of eye medicine, from antibiotic drops to diagnostics drops, each bottle manufactured under the strict guidelines of the WHO standards for eye drop production.
